The fact that this exchange takes place in Annals of Oncology, a leading oncology journal, underscores the relevance of the debate surrounding immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) in BCG-naive high-risk non-muscle invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC). ALBAN, CREST, and POTOMAC now constitute the three pivotal phase III trials shaping this field and should be interpreted together.
