Eerstelijns NSCLC: lessen uit EVOKE-02 over ADC-immunotherapiecombinaties

As antibody–drug conjugates (ADCs) continue to emerge as a transformative modality in oncology, demonstrating meaningful improvements across multiple tumor types,1–5 a critical question is whether the first-in-class, trophoblast cell surface antigen 2 (Trop-2)–directed ADC sacituzumab govitecan (SG) could similarly advance treatment outcomes for patients with metastatic NSCLC (mNSCLC). This disease continues to pose a significant therapeutic challenge, with real-world data consistently revealing poor survival for patients who progress after standard therapies.
